My admirer

A lady called Mysti Mayhem, who is a singer with a band and who lives in America (I think), wrote a song about me and put it on YouTube. In the song she says she likes me a lot and wants to get married, which is slightly forward considering we've never met. She also says she's been sending me emails and that I've never replied to them. I don't remember getting any emails, but I suppose they may have got lost in my email filing system (apart from the "Inbox" there are a lot of other folders in my email account webpage place, and sometimes they have letters in them but I often forget to check. There's one folder called "Spam", for some reason, and that usually has mail in it, but then those letters disappear with some regularity... I don't really know how that whole thing works, as is probably clear from what I've just written). Anyway, I'm quite intrigued by Mysti's interest in me - because it's not often (ever, in fact) that singers from the United States want to be my wife - and I'm thinking about how I should reply. I'm not sure that I want to get married immediately to somebody I don't know; doing that seems like it might lead to difficulties in the long run. But I'd definitely like to get to know her better. |
